I don’t hate you because you live the lifestyle you do. I don’t hate you because we disagree on ideas and politics. I don’t hate you because you don’t think like me. I don’t hate you for not believing in the same things as I do. I don’t hate you because you act differently than me. I don’t hate you for not agreeing with my worldview. I don’t hate you because of the life choices you make. In fact, I don’t hate you at all. I love you more than you will ever know!
In the beginning, God created all things. All things were made through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we live, move, and breathe. We are His creation, but there is one who hates the Creator God. He has made it his own personal mission to rip creation away from the Creator by convincing the created that the Creator is not who He claims to be, or better, to convince His creation that the Creator doesn’t even exist. This Deceiver has been at war with the Creator ever since the beginning of creation. It all started when the Deceiver convinced the created to believe that their ways, thoughts, and ideas are higher and better than the Creator’s. The moment the created fell prey to the Deceiver’s lies, there was a break in the relationship between the Creator and the created. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you will ever know.
You are made in the image of God; the same God you choose to ignore, hate, blaspheme, and/or adamantly believe doesn’t exist. You were created to be in fellowship with Him, but you are blinded by the lies and deception of the devil, who is the Deceiver, and your own sin. You would rather believe in yourself and believe that you can save yourself, when in truth, you can’t. You would rather roll the dice with God and make ignorant accusations and statements about a God you deny and choose to ignore. Instead of seeking knowledge and truth, you convince yourself that your truth is all that matters. You have convinced yourself to believe in a lie, which has made that lie true for you. This was never supposed to be this way. The Deceiver has blinded you from seeing the Truth. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you will ever know.
I hate that the Deceiver has convinced you that your ways are better and higher than the Creator’s. I hate that the Deceiver has convinced you that the only truth that matters is “your truth.” I hate that the Deceiver has convinced you that pride is more powerful than humility. I hate that the Deceiver is still working his schemes in the world and separating the created from the Creator. I hate that the Deceiver has worked his dark magic on you and convinced you to believe that there is no God, no Creator, and no need for a relationship with the One who loves you more than you will ever know. I hate the Deceiver and his deceiving ways. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you will ever know.
You are no better than me, and I am no better than you. We are both sinners, and we are both made in the image of God. We are separated only because of the Deceiver. I do not blame you, but the choices you make are your own, and the consequences that follow will be according to the choices you make. I do not want to see you separated from the love of the Creator. You may say that God is not a loving God if He removes you from His presence. But you see, it is not He who has removed you. You have decided to believe the Deceiver, and with that, you have removed yourself from His presence. It is not too late. You can choose to turn back to the Creator; put your trust and faith in Him, believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. By doing this, you choose Him, and with that, you choose to be in His presence. I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you, for my heart’s desire is for you to see yourself through the Creator’s eyes and to turn away from the lies of the Deceiver.
I do not hate you. I love you. I want the best for you, and the best is Jesus Christ. I want you to seek Truth and turn away from the lies and deception that the Deceiver is so good at telling. The Bible says that if you seek God with all your heart, He will be found. I want you to find Him. I want you to know what I know. I want you to live a free life in Jesus. Jesus said that He came to give life and give it abundantly. The world, which is the Deceiver’s play ground, will tell you that you are all you need. It will tell you that there is nothing greater than you. The truth is, pride will keep you from truly living the life you were meant to live. Jesus Christ is the freedom that we all deeply desire. The Deceiver has convinced you that Christ is a myth, just a man, a religious fanatic. The truth is that Jesus Christ is the way, the Truth, and the Life. It is only through Him that we will experience true hope and joy. I don’t hate you, I love you more than you know.
If I kept all of this to myself and never shared it with you, then it would be me not loving you. To keep all of this to myself would be a slap in your face. Truth isn’t always something we want to hear, and many times, we will believe a false truth so that we don’t have to face the real Truth. The Deceiver has convinced you that you are your own god and that you don’t need any other. These lies have kept you in the dark. They have blinded you and shrouded your eyes from seeing the whole truth. Right now, you might see a small piece of the whole truth, but because the Deceiver has convinced you that you are right in all of your thinking, you are missing the Truth that will truly set you free. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you will know.
Right now, there is a statement in our world that is printed on shirts and billboards. It says, “You are enough.” This is an absolute lie from the Deceiver. You are NOT enough. You are a sinner separated from the Creator. There is nothing that you can do to make it right. The truth is that you are MORE than you know, and that MORE is found in Jesus Christ. It is Jesus Christ that makes us more. It is He that is enough. It is He that makes us right. Without Him, we are nothing. Without Him, we are under the power of the Deceiver who has convinced us that we are enough. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can defeat the Deceiver and become who we were meant to be. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. We are nothing without Him. He is the One who knitted us together and breathed into us the breath of life. We will never be enough. We need Jesus. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you know.
To lie to you would be to hate you, but I tell you the truth. The truth I speak is one I am willing to die for. I want you to know the truth, but I will never force you to accept it. Your choices are your own, and if you choose to deny the truth, I will still love you. I will not hate you for rejecting the truth I have shared with you. It is not my job to judge you. However, it is my job to speak the truth, and that truth may go against your life choices, but it doesn’t mean I hate you. More than anything, I want you to see yourself the way the Creator intended. I want you to realize that nothing in life is as important as the relationship we all need with Jesus Christ. I want you to understand that you are loved, and that your life is yours to live, but in the end, if you live your life for yourself and deny the truth, then you will have chosen to be separated from God forever, and that is a place I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I want you to understand that God wants you to be with Him, but He loves you enough to let you choose your own path. It is not He who rejects you, but you are rejecting Him. But the beautiful part is that He is always one step behind, standing at the door and knocking, and is eager for you to turn to Him. His heart is for you, but it is your choice to accept Him. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you know.
I apologize if I come off the wrong way. It is never my intention. I am a sinner and struggle with the old self on a daily basis. The old self tells me that I should hate. It tells me that I should always be defensive. It tells me that I should stay away from anything that I disagree with. I am at a constant battle with the old self, and every day I am trying to be more like Jesus. He is my teacher, my master, and my Lord. I want, more than anything, to be like Him. Some days I do a really good job, and then there are days that I fail miserably. But the beautiful thing about Jesus is that when I confess my sin and repent of my shortcomings and failures, He is faithful and just to forgive me. He is a gracious King, and I want you to know Him. He is a loving King, and I want you to know Him. He is a just King, and I want you to know Him. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you know.
Just because we disagree doesn’t mean you are my enemy. Our battle is not between flesh and blood. It is against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Our battle is against the Deceiver. It is never my intention to be at war with you. You are God’s creation made in His image. Because I struggle with the old self, I sometimes fall prey to thinking that my battle is against you. However, I know deep down that you are not the enemy, and my battle is against the one who has deceived you and has convinced you to believe that there is no God, or that you are greater than God. My heart cries out against the Deceiver and his schemes. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you know.
I never want you to feel that I am pushing my faith and beliefs on you. I want to share those things with you, and you are free to disagree. I ask that you only consider what I say. Think about my words to you, do your own research, ask questions, and most importantly, be open to the idea that you have a Creator that loves you, knows you, and wants to be in relationship with you. Your Creator knows you, and the Deceiver knows it and hates it. The Deceiver doesn’t want you to accept or acknowledge that your Creator knows you and loves you. The Deceiver will do anything in his power to convince you that you are all you need and that there is no need for God, or that there is no God. The Deceiver wants you to believe that God hates you and will convince you that God doesn’t really care. The Deceiver will do everything in his power to keep you from the Truth. I don’t hate you. I love you more than you know.
Why am I so passionate about this? Because life is fleeting, and our time is never guaranteed. The day you breathe your last breath, you will stand before your Creator, and unless you have chosen Him, He will respect your desires of never wanting to be in a relationship with Him. What you don’t understand is that eternity without God is neverending agony. The Deceiver knows this, and wants you to join him in his agony. He wants to separate the creation from the Creator. I don’t want that for you. I want you to live a life of joy, peace, and hope. I want you to know your Creator and spend eternity with Him. I don’t want you to miss the opportunity of eternal life with the One who loves you more than you will ever know.
Your life is yours to live. Please don’t reject what I am telling you. Consider my words, reflect on them, and ultimately, if you still feel the same way, I will respect that. But please know, I don’t hate you. I love you more than you know!
